About how bad is traffic to work in seattle

how bad is traffic to work in seattle?
I am looking at getting a job in south Seattle. I live near the Tacoma / Puyallup area, and am curious how bad the traffic really gets going up on I-5 and/or 167 routes. I know the mornings aren't as bad as the afternoons, but what kind of delay times can I expect? If anyone can give round-abouts from locations around this area it would be really helpful! Thank you all for your responses.

It can be rough especially at peak commute times. You might want to consider taking public transit to avoid some of the misery. Tacoma & Puyallup Sound Transit has both express buses and trains into Seattle. The Sounder trains run only during weekday rush hours & start from Tacoma Dome Station and then serve Puyallup enroute to Seattle. Also from Tacoma to Seattle express bus #590 & 594 have direct service to SODO & downtown, and from Puyallup the Bus #578 has express service into Downtown. Hope this helps! Good Luck
